At Gina’s Art Barn, we believe everyone can create something they’re proud of.
Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or trying something new, this is a place where the process is easy, welcoming, and actually fun. We’ve built the Art Barn to feel relaxed and inviting; like a place you can come in, be yourself, and just enjoy creating.
Classes are led by Gina Merle, the heart behind Gina’s Art Barn. With years of experience and a genuine love for helping people get creative, Gina walks you through each project step by step and makes sure you feel comfortable the whole way through.

Classes & Workshops
Gina’s Art Barn offers a variety of classes—what we like to call art parties—from seasonal workshops to favorite projects people come back for again and again.
You might paint a canvas for your home, design something one-of-a-kind, or try something completely new. Every class is set up to be fun, relaxed, and easy to follow.
Most classes include all materials. If you ever need to bring something, you’ll know ahead of time.
We keep things simple and affordable so anyone can walk in, create, and have a good time.

Meet Gina Merle
If you’ve lived in Weatherford for a while, you probably already know Gina—as “Mike’s wife.” Her husband, Mike Merle, owned Mike’s Body Shop, and around town people have started calling this “Mike’s wife’s place.”
And honestly, she’s proud of that—but Gina has built something of her own here, too.
After moving from Indianapolis to western Oklahoma, Gina worked as an ultrasound tech in Yukon. All the while, she carried a dream of creating a space where people of all ages could come together, make something with their hands, and actually enjoy the process.
With the support of her husband and family, she finally took the leap and built Gina’s Art Barn from the ground up. This place wasn’t just opened—it was put together with a lot of hard work, heart, and help from the people closest to her.
Gina has always loved art, even in seasons where she didn’t feel “creative enough.” She knows what it’s like to take the safe path, and she also knows what it feels like to step out and do something that matters to you.
Now, she gets to share that with everyone who walks through the door.
She’s the kind of person who makes you feel comfortable right away. Easy to talk to, welcoming, and the first to make sure you feel taken care of.
